Product Description

6 Foot Tall, 4 Shelf Industrial Rack provides heavy-duty storage for both professional and home use. This rack features innovative details that aren't typically found on industrial racks, such as dense wire grids that prevent items from falling through, safety straps with weld nuts for ease of assembly, and top caps that protect both you and your items from possible damage. The three industrial metal wire grid and one black laminate wood composite deck can each support an evenly distributed 2,500 lbs. for a total of 10,000 lbs. The uprights, crossbeams, and support straps are all made from powder-coated steel and are designed so that once assembled, each shelf has 8 individual support straps to prevent twisting or buckling. The shelves are adjustable in 3 in. increments and the locking pins ensure that each shelf is properly installed. For added security and peace of mind the rack has glass-filled nylon feet so it will not damage flooring, locking grid clips to secure the wire grids into place, and a wall mounting anchor bracket so you can secure your rack in place to prevent any accidental tipping. For easy assembly two of the four uprights come with pre-installed horizontal and diagonal support beams making getting started fast and stress-free. Includes a standard hex key, wrench tool and hex bit.

Q:Will the shelf be damaged by weight?
A:Of course, please read the load capacity of the relevant product carefully before use to avoid damage.


Q: Do I have to have a shelf at the bottom?
A: If you choose not to have a bottom shelf, we recommend that you support the posts with 3 or 4 hanger rails along the depth and width of the bottom. Installing triangle footplates and/or post wall brackets can also help to stabilize a unit without a bottom shelf.

Q: Can I add another shelf to my wire shelving unit?
A: Yes, you can add as many shelves as you can fit on the posts. Just make sure you will have enough vertical space for the items you wish to store. We carry individual shelves (complete with shelf clips) that you can add to your shelving unit.

Q: How do I purchase a wire shelving kit that is a different size than what you offer?
A: You can make any size wire shelving unit with any number of shelves by purchasing the size posts you need and the number/size shelves you need (shelf clips are included). We have a Wire Shelving Parts page that has everything to build your custom unit.
