Q:Will the shelf be damaged by weight?
A:Of course, please read the load capacity of the relevant product carefully before use to avoid damage.


Q: Do I have to have a shelf at the bottom?
A: If you choose not to have a bottom shelf, we recommend that you support the posts with 3 or 4 hanger rails along the depth and width of the bottom. Installing triangle footplates and/or post wall brackets can also help to stabilize a unit without a bottom shelf.

Q: Can I add another shelf to my wire shelving unit?
A: Yes, you can add as many shelves as you can fit on the posts. Just make sure you will have enough vertical space for the items you wish to store. We carry individual shelves (complete with shelf clips) that you can add to your shelving unit.

Q: How do I purchase a wire shelving kit that is a different size than what you offer?
A: You can make any size wire shelving unit with any number of shelves by purchasing the size posts you need and the number/size shelves you need (shelf clips are included). We have a Wire Shelving Parts page that has everything to build your custom unit.
